Regarding the antenna ground, where exactly is it located on a Mini One Diesel? And is there a way to test the antenna booster without specialized equipment?

The antenna ground is typically near the antenna base, bolted to the body. Visually inspect it for corrosion. As for the booster, without specialized equipment, you're limited. Given the error message and symptoms, a defective antenna is the likely culprit. I'd recommend a workshop visit for proper diagnosis and repair.

The workshop confirmed a defective antenna. Repair cost was 255€. Radio reception is now perfect. Thanks for the insight.

Have you checked the antenna ground connection? A bad ground can cause all sorts of radio interference. Think of it like a leaky faucet; even a small drip can make a big mess. Also, does your Mini have an antenna booster or signal amplifier? They can fail and introduce static noise if the signal isn't strong enough.
