Mini One Diesel Reduced Engine Power

Reduced power and a check engine light, eh? Sounds familiar. I had similar symptoms with my Mini One (diesel, too). Did a scan tool pick up any specific fault codes?

Yeah, a fault code was present. Was your issue also related to aftermarket modifications or something similar?

That's it exactly! It turned out to be a dodgy chip tuning job someone had done previously. I'd suggest getting it checked out at a workshop; they'll be able to confirm.

Problem resolved. Vehicle diagnostics pointed to a faulty chip tuning. Had it removed; cost me 180€. Thanks for the input.
