Mini One GPS Reception Problems

My 2014 Mini One is showing a peculiar issue. The navigation system reports no GPS reception. I've checked, and there's an error stored in the error memory indicating a GPS antenna problem. Given the symptoms, and the error code, the likely cause is a defective GPS antenna. Has anyone else encountered similar signal interference issues with their vehicle GPS?

Whoa, that sounds familiar! I had a similar GPS signal problem with my Mini One. Was driving me nuts! Did you check the antenna connection? Maybe it's just loose?

Antenna connection seems solid. I've scanned the error memory, and it consistently points to a defective GPS antenna. Just curious, was that also the case with your car GPS?

Yep, same deal here. The error codes pointed directly to the antenna. Honestly, I wouldn't mess with it too much. Just take it to a workshop and have them replace the GPS antenna. It's probably the easiest solution.

Thanks for the insight. Turns out the GPS antenna was indeed defective. Replaced it, and now the navigation system is working perfectly again. Cost me around 200€, just as I suspected.
