Thank you for your response. You mentioned a similar issue. Could you elaborate on which connections you inspected specifically, and if you recall any error codes displayed by the vehicle's diagnostic system?

Okay, so the connections I fiddled with were primarily at the siren itself and where the wiring harness connects to the body. I did get some generic 'communication error' codes but nothing specific to the siren. Honestly, I'd advise you bite the bullet and take it to a workshop. They'll have the proper diagnostic tools to pinpoint the exact wiring issue. It's like trying to find a needle in a haystack without a magnet!

Understood. I appreciate your input. The issue was indeed related to a faulty connection, as suspected. A visit to the workshop confirmed the diagnosis, and the connection was repaired. The alarm system is now functional, and the error has been cleared from the system memory.

A siren communication fault, eh? Sounds like the gremlins got into your Mini One’s wiring! I had a similar issue with my Mini One – the alarm would out of nowhere go off, or sometimes not arm at all. First, check all the connections to the siren itself. It's usually behind the wheel arch liner. Are you sure the siren is getting power? Have you checked the relevant fuses? A multimeter is your best friend here, like a detective's magnifying glass for electrical issues.
