Mini One Sunroof Error
Summary of the thread
The 2013 Mini One diesel is experiencing a 'sunroof not initialized' error, causing the sunblind and convertible top to be inoperable. This issue likely resulted from recent coding modifications affecting the sunroof's control module. The suggested solution is to have the system reinitialized at a workshop, which resolved the problem and restored normal functionality.

Fuses appear to be in order. When you mention 'amateur coding,' could you elaborate? What exactly went wrong in your experience?

Sure. Basically, the coding messed with the sunroof's control module. It sounds like the same issue I had. I tried everything myself, but in the end, I had to take it to a workshop to get the automobile sunroof properly reset. They have the right equipment to reinitialize the system.

Understood, I appreciate the insight. The sunroof system required a reinitialization at the workshop. Cost me 75€. Everything is functioning normally again.

That's a tricky one! I had something similar happen with my old Opel – the sunroof mechanism went haywire after some amateur coding. The sunblind got stuck, and the entire vehicle sunroof was unusable. Have you checked all the fuses related to the car sunroof?
