Mini One tire warning light and steering issues

In my case, the faulty valve was causing a slow air leak, leading to low tire pressure. The low pressure probably affected the power steering and ABS. Given all the symptoms you're describing, I'd suggest taking it to a workshop. They can properly diagnose the issue and replace the valve if needed.

Yeah, I checked the tires with a tire gauge after the low tire light came on and they were all definitely low. Could a bad tire valve really cause all those problems at once?

Just wanted to update, it WAS the tire valve! Got it replaced for 280€ and the steering is back to normal. Thanks for the advice!

That sounds similar to an issue I had with my Mini One. The low tire warning light came on, and I noticed the steering felt heavy. Have you checked your tire pressure with a tire gauge to confirm the pressure is actually low? Sometimes the tire monitoring system can be a bit sensitive.
