Mini Paceman Air Suspension Issue

I'm experiencing a rather unsettling issue with my 2015 Mini Paceman diesel. The air suspension seems to have given up the ghost. The vehicle refuses to lift, leans noticeably to one side, and throws an error message on the speedometer. The ride quality has deteriorated significantly, becoming quite bumpy. I suspect the suspension air bag valve is defective. Has anyone else encountered something similar?

Sounds like a bellows valve issue, especially with the leaning. Does the compressor run constantly? Have you checked the air lines for leaks using soapy water?

Thanks for the quick reply. I haven't checked the compressor or the lines yet. Where exactly are the air lines located, and is it difficult to access the compressor to check if it runs constantly?

Air lines run from the compressor to each air spring. Compressor is usually near the rear axle. Constant running confirms a leak. Given the error codes and symptoms, a defective bellows valve is highly probable. A workshop visit is advisable for diagnosis and repair.

Thank you for the confirmation. I suspected it was the valve. Just got the Paceman back from the workshop; the bellows valve was indeed defective. Repair cost me 590€. Now she rides like a dream again.
