Mini Paceman Diesel Cold Start Issues

The temperature control seems to be working, but it takes a very long time for the cabin to heat up, and the engine still runs poorly during the cold start phase. Yes, I had the same error code. The heat was barely working, especially during the initial phase. Given that you've already checked the connections, and you still have the same symptoms, it's highly likely that the electric auxiliary heater is indeed defective. In my case, replacing the heater resolved all the issues. I would recommend taking your car to a workshop for a proper diagnosis and repair. It sounds like you're on the right track, and a new heater should solve the problem.

Thank you for the information. I took my Mini Paceman to the workshop, and they confirmed that the electric auxiliary heater was indeed defective. The repair cost me 350€. Now my heating system is working perfectly, and the engine runs smoothly from the start.
