Mini Paceman Emergency Call System Malfunction

My 2016 Mini Paceman is showing an emergency call system malfunction. The error is stored, and there's an error message and warning light in the speedometer. Could this be a defective cable or plug connection as I suspect

Could be a fuse Have you checked the fuses related to automotive electronics Also, does the SOS signal malfunction show up immediately when you start the Mini Paceman, or only after driving a bit

Since the malfunction appears immediately, I would suspect the cable or plug connection as well. A system reset might not solve it permanently. Probably best to get it checked at a workshop.

I haven't checked the fuses. Where would I find the fuse diagram for the Mini Paceman And yes, the error message and warning light are there right away when I start the car.

Quick update I had the cable plug connection checked as suspected. 95€ later and the emergency call failure is gone. Thanks for your help.
