Concerning your experience with the Peugeot, could you elaborate on the specifics of the fault and any diagnostic steps undertaken?

Right, the Peugeot's malfunction indicator lamp lit up, and the error pointed to a heater circuit issue as well. I tried sensor testing myself, but it was beyond my abilities. I would recommend that you consider visiting a workshop.

Whoa, oxygen sensor issues are a pain! I had a similar problem with my old Peugeot – check engine light driving me nuts and the fuel consumption was awful. Have you tried sensor testing or checked the exhaust system for leaks? It might be something simple before you start replacing parts.
