Mini Paceman turn signal issue
Summary of the thread
A 2014 Mini Paceman diesel is experiencing a turn signal issue, with an error message on the speedometer and a fault in the automotive lighting. The problem is suspected to be a faulty signal lamp or a defective connection. It is suggested to check for corrosion in the bulb holder or a defective cable or plug connection. I haven't checked the bulb holder for corrosion yet. I'm not really sure how to do that. And yes, it's just the right turn signal that's acting up. Could a broken lens cause this?

A broken lens wouldn't typically cause an electrical fault. The error code and speedometer message suggest a deeper issue. The likely cause, as you mentioned, is probably a defective cable or plug connection. Considering the symptoms, it's best to get it checked at a workshop. It might be a simple fix, but messing with automotive lighting without proper knowledge can be risky.

Thanks for confirming! I took the Mini Paceman to the workshop, and you were spot on. They found a defective plug connection on the right turn signal. 95€ later, it's all fixed. Appreciate the help!

Sounds like a dodgy connection. Have you checked the bulb itself and the bulb holder for corrosion? Does it affect just one side?
