Mini Roadster Cold Start Problems

I am experiencing poor engine running during the cold start phase with my 2015 Mini Roadster, which currently has 44929 km on the clock. The vehicle starts poorly and exhibits what appears to be engine misfire until it warms up. Based on my diagnostics, the likely cause is a defective cold start injector. Has anyone else encountered similar cold start problems with this engine? I am considering an injector cleaning service, but I suspect a defective injection valve/injector. Any insights or recommendations would be appreciated before I proceed further.

Yes, exactly the same symptoms: engine misfire on cold start. I tried injector cleaning first, but that didn't fix the problem. In the end, I took it to a workshop. They ran some tests and told me the injector was faulty. If you suspect a defective injector, I would advise taking it to a mechanic. It will save you time and money in the long run.

Thank you for confirming my suspicions. After an injector test at the workshop, it was determined that the cold start injector was indeed faulty. The unit has now been replaced at a cost of 515€. The cold start problems are resolved.
