Mini Roadster Diesel engine running roughly

Thanks for the quick reply! Fuel consumption did seem a bit higher than usual, and there was a faint smell of unburnt diesel, so that aligns with fuel injection issues. Do you recall if you had any other error codes or specific symptoms besides the ones you already mentioned? Did you attempt any performance tuning before this issue arose?

Yes, the unburnt fuel smell is a key indicator. I did experience other errors related to misfires. I didn't attempt any performance tuning, so I wouldn't know if that caused the issue. My advice is to go to a workshop with a good diagnostic tool. They'll perform more thorough onboard diagnostics on the fuel injection system and confirm the faulty injector.

I appreciate you confirming my suspicions. After a visit to the workshop, the diagnostics indicated a faulty injector. The 'reset quantity drift compensation' error was indeed a symptom. Replacement of the injector and recalibration of the fuel injection system, as part of onboard diagnostics, seems to have resolved the rough running and check engine light issue. Thanks for your input!

Rough engine running and a check engine light on your Roadster, with that error code, sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my Mini. Did you notice any changes in fuel consumption or any unusual smells? It could be related to faulty car sensors or issues with fuel injection.
