Mini Roadster Diesel Uneven Idling

Something is definitely amiss with my 2015 Mini Roadster diesel. I'm experiencing uneven idling and there's an error stored. It feels like a defective engine mount is to blame, perhaps a simple cable issue.

I had similar vibration issues and uneven idling with my old Passat. Turned out to be a defective motor mount. Does the error memory point specifically to the engine mount?

Yes, the error memory does mention the engine mount specifically. Given your experience, is there anything else I should be checking before assuming mount failure?

If the error points directly to the engine mount and you're experiencing those symptoms, it's highly likely a mount failure. Given the age of the car, the rubber could be degrading. I'd recommend getting it checked out at a workshop before it causes further damage.

Just wanted to report back that the workshop confirmed it was a defective engine mount. They suspect a faulty cable or plug connection. Repair cost me 95€. Thanks for the advice!
