Mini Roadster Door Handle Electronics Issue

My 2015 Mini Roadster is throwing an error related to the door handle electronics. The keyless access is no longer functioning. I've read the error memory, and it suggests a possible wiring fault or defective plug connection in the door actuator. Has anyone experienced something similar? I'm trying to gauge whether this is something I can tackle myself or if I should just book it in for repair. The estimated repair cost is around 95€.

I had something similar happen on my Roadster. Keyless go stopped working. Does the error memory point to the door actuator? For me, it was the door switch. I'd check the wiring first before replacing anything. It could be a simple wiring fault.

Thanks for the quick reply. Yes, the error memory specifically mentions the door actuator and a possible cable or plug connection issue. Did you manage to fix the wiring fault yourself, or did you take it to a workshop? Any advice on how to best access the door wiring?

Mine was the door switch and related wiring inside the car door. I tried to fix it myself, but gave up after a while. In the end, I took it to a workshop. Considering the predicted cost, it's probably best to let them handle it. They will be able to properly diagnose the wiring fault and replace the necessary components. The electric door is worth the money.

Just wanted to update this thread. The workshop confirmed it was a wiring fault in the door actuator. The electric door now works as expected, and keyless entry is back online. The repair cost was exactly as predicted: 95€. Thanks for your input!
