Mini Roadster fuel flap issue

I had something similar happen with my Mini. The fuel flap wouldn't open, and I also got some weird errors. Does your key fob still work for other things? Mine did, but the fuel flap release was completely dead. I'm not sure if it's the exact same issue, but maybe it's related?

Sounds like the exact same problem I had! In my case, they suspected it was the release mechanism. I'm no expert, so I just took it to a workshop. They sorted it out pretty quickly. I would suggest you take it to someone who knows these cars. Better safe than sorry when dealing with electrical gremlins.

Just wanted to give you an update. Took the Mini Roadster to a workshop, and they confirmed it was a faulty release mechanism. They replaced it for around 210€, and the fuel flap is working perfectly again. Thanks for your help!
