Mini Roadster power window issue
Summary of the thread
A 2013 Mini Roadster with approximately 93,516 km has a power window issue, with both windows non-functional. A diagnostic revealed an error related to the window regulator, but a defective power window switch is suspected as the primary cause. After consulting with others and considering potential solutions, the owner took the car to a workshop, where the power window switch was confirmed to be defective and replaced, resolving the issue.

Thanks for the quick response! Both power windows are dead. I'll check the fuses, but where exactly is the window regulator located? Is it behind the door panel? Is accessing the window track difficult?

Yeah, the regulator is inside the door. You'll need to remove the door panel to get to it and the window track. But if both windows are affected, I'd lean even more towards the switch being the problem, before you start dismantling the door. If you aren't comfortable doing that yourself, it might be best to take it to a workshop. They can diagnose it properly and replace the switch.

Just wanted to give an update. I took your advice and brought the Mini Roadster to a workshop. Turns out, the power window switch was indeed defective, just as the error memory suggested. Replacement and labor came to around 200€. Thanks again for your help!

Sounds like a faulty window regulator to me. I had a similar issue with the power windows on my Mini Roadster a while back. Does the window control for both windows not work? Did you check the fuses? Sometimes it's a simple fix, but with an error code stored, it's more likely the regulator or the switch itself.
