Thank you for your reply. Indeed, I have noticed weak lights and the engine starting poorly. I suspect a significant voltage drop when initiating the engine. Is it probable that a heavily discharged or defective battery could induce failures across various systems? Furthermore, do you remember how did you resolve your electrical problem in your Mini Cooper?

Given your additional details, I would concur that a defective battery is increasingly probable. In my case, a similar constellation of symptoms was ultimately traced back to battery degradation and a parasitic drain. I would recommend a workshop visit to confirm this diagnosis. A thorough assessment of the battery health and charging system will be necessary to definitively ascertain the root cause of the low voltage condition.

I appreciate your insights regarding the potential battery issue. I have followed your advice and taken my Mini Roadster to a workshop for assessment. It appears the battery was indeed the primary culprit, exhibiting significant degradation. The replacement cost 290€, and now the undervoltage issue seems to have been resolved. Many thanks for your assistance!

I see you are experiencing a low voltage condition with your Roadster. I encountered a somewhat analogous electrical problem in my Mini Cooper, although I cannot say with certainty if the underlying cause is identical. Have you by any chance observed any unusual voltage drop when starting the engine, or perhaps flickering lights? A comprehensive diagnostic assessment of the power supply and battery health is advisable, if you haven't performed one already. What is the battery's manufacturing date, if you happen to know it?
