Interesting! I haven't done any deep diagnostics yet, just a basic scan that flagged the rain-light sensor fault. Was it definitely the sensor in your case? And did you have any of the same symptoms, like the speedometer dimming issue?

Yeah, the symptoms were pretty much the same. Speedo thing too! Turned out to be moisture under the sensor. I'd suggest taking it to a workshop, they'll be able to diagnose it properly and check the wiring too.

Thanks for the tip! Turns out you were right, moisture had gotten under the sensor. New gel pad and a bit of cleaning and it's all sorted! Cost me about 62€ in the end. Appreciate the help!

Sounds familiar! I had almost the exact same thing happen on my old Renault Megane. Rain sensor went haywire, lights acting up... weird stuff. What diagnostics have you run so far?
