Mistra Airbag Warning Light
Summary of the thread
The airbag warning light on a 2014 Hyundai Mistra could indicate a potential safety issue. Possible causes include loose or corroded airbag sensor connections under the seats or a faulty clock spring. Good idea about the under-seat connections! I haven't checked there yet. When you had the light on your Mistra, did adjusting those connections fix it, or was there more to it?

Fiddling didn't fix it for me, sadly. I ended up having to take it to a workshop. They diagnosed it as a faulty clock spring. Bit of a pain, but they sorted it quickly enough. Probably best to get it checked professionally since it's the airbag system, wouldn't want to mess with that!

A clock spring! I'll keep that in mind. Thanks for the advice to be careful. I took it to a workshop as you suggested, and they found a defective plug connection, and fixed it for 95€! Your insights really helped me find a solution. I appreciate it.

I've seen that SRS light on my Mistra before. Did you check the airbag sensor connections under the seats? Those can get loose or corroded. Is the light constantly on, or does it flicker?
