Summary of the thread
A 2018 Hyundai Mistra owner experienced a check engine light and increased fuel consumption, with an error indicating an oxygen sensor heater issue. The problem was suspected to be a faulty cable or plug. A similar case suggested checking the sensor connections, specifically the plug. After verifying the plug and visiting a workshop, the issue was confirmed to be a faulty sensor connection, which was resolved for 95€.

Cheers! When you say 'sensor connections', do you mean the plug itself, or further back along the wiring?

I meant the plug connecting to the sensor. If that doesn't fix the problem, it might be time to visit a workshop. In my case, it was a defective plug.

Thanks! After checking the plug, still no luck. Took it to a workshop, and you were right - faulty sensor connection. 95€ and all is well. Appreciate the help!

I had a similar issue with my Mistra. Same symptoms: check engine light, higher fuel consumption, and the error code pointing to the oxygen sensor. Have you checked the sensor connections? That fixed it for me.
