Mitsubishi ASX DPF fluid fill location

Hello! I have a 2015 Mitsubishi ASX with a diesel engine and 177,000 km. I'm experiencing a decrease in engine power, and the DPF level is low. Could someone help me find where I can refill DPF fluid? The engine is 1560cm3. Thank you for your help!

Check if your model uses a DPF fluid, as not all diesel vehicles require it. If it does, the refill point is usually near the fuel filler or in the engine bay. Consult your owner's manual for the exact location. If the issue persists after refilling, it might be wise to have the DPF and related sensors inspected by a professional. Let me know if you need further assistance!

Thank you for your reply! Unfortunately, the manual doesn't describe the location of the DPF tank. If there is no DPF tank, could it still display an error saying "DPF level low", or what could the error message indicate? Thank you.

If your vehicle doesn't have a DPF fluid tank, the "DPF level low" message might indicate a sensor issue or a problem with the DPF itself, such as clogging. Start by checking for any visible blockages in the exhaust system and ensure the sensors are connected properly. If the problem persists, it's important to have a professional diagnose the issue to prevent potential engine damage. Let me know how it goes or if you have more questions!
