Mitsubishi Outlander EPB Maintenance Mode Query

I own a 2019 Mitsubishi Outlander with 80,000 km on it, powered by a gasoline engine. I'm experiencing an issue where the electrical handbrake is not working. I have a question regarding the scanner tool: Does this scanner allow me to put the EPB (Electronic Parking Brake) into maintenance mode so I can change the brake pads? Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Hi I am looking at purchasing a scanner, I just need to know if this scanner will allow me to release the EPB so I can change my rear brake pads
