I'm experiencing a mixture preparation error with my 2012 Peugeot Bipper gasoline engine. I've done 274807 km. Symptoms include reduced engine power, check engine light, rough running, jerking when accelerating, and occasional stalling. Could this be a defective injection valve or injector?

I have a Bipper too, and those symptoms sound very familiar! I had a similar problem with mine a while back. Did you notice any difference in your fuel consumption? Also, have you checked the condition of your catalytic converter? A clogged cat can sometimes cause similar issues.

Thanks. I haven't observed a significant change in fuel consumption. I haven't inspected the catalytic converter. Could a faulty catalytic converter produce these symptoms, or should I focus on the fuel injection system?

It's difficult to say for sure without proper diagnostics. In my case, the problem was related to the fuel injection. Given the symptoms and mileage, it might be best to have a workshop run a proper diagnostic check. They can test the injectors and fuel pressure to pinpoint the issue.
