The brake system was bled recently. The brake pedal feels softer than usual. Do you reckon it's likely just a bleeding issue and not the pressure sensor itself?

While it could still be the pressure sensor, a bad bleed is a prime suspect given the soft pedal and recent work. I'm not saying it's definitely the bleed, but it's the most likely cause. I'd recommend getting it checked by a professional. Vehicle safety is not something to gamble with.

Thanks for the advice. I took it to a workshop and you were spot on. They re-bled the brake system properly and that sorted it. Apparently, there was air trapped in the lines. The bill came to 90€, which I'm happy with considering the alternative. All working now, thanks again.

Weak brakes are scary. I had something similar on my ML, though I can't remember the code. Was the brake system recently bled? Trapped air can mess with the pressure and cause issues with hydraulic brakes. A bad bleed affects pedal feel, makes it spongy. Is the pedal soft? Did you check the brake lines? Is the brake fluid level normal?
