Mobi electric seat issue
Summary of the thread
The passenger electric seat on a 2022 Fiat Mobi stopped adjusting, with a stored error code and unresponsive controls, despite the fuses being intact. A similar issue in another vehicle was resolved by addressing a heavily discharged battery, which can cause voltage-sensitive components like seat control modules to malfunction. Testing and replacing the battery resolved the issue, restoring seat functionality.

That's a good point. I haven't had the battery specifically tested, but the car starts fine and the other electrical systems seem normal. Could a slightly weak battery really cause just the seat to fail like that?

Yes, in my case the Volvo was starting and running fine too. Apparently, the seat control module is very sensitive to voltage drops. It might be worth getting it checked before diving into wiring diagrams. If it's not that, it's probably time to visit a workshop, as the repair may require specialized tools and knowledge.

Thanks for the tip! You were spot on. Had the battery tested and it was indeed heavily discharged. Replaced it, cleared the error code, and the seat is working perfectly now. The bill was 290€. I appreciate the help!

Interesting. I had a similar problem with my 2018 Volvo XC60. Same symptoms: error code for the power seats and no adjustment possible. It turned out that my battery was heavily discharged and that was causing all sorts of weird electrical issues. Have you had your battery tested recently?
