Mobi fuel flap issue

Hey, I'm having a weird issue with my 2021 Fiat Mobi, gasoline engine. The fuel flap just won't open! I'm getting an error message, and it seems like locking/unlocking the flap is completely dead. Even some other functions are acting up. Checked the key fob battery, seems fine. Is this some crazy electrical fault?

I had a similar problem with my Mobi. Have you checked the lock actuator itself? It might be jammed or faulty.

The lock actuator, huh? Where exactly is that located, and how would I even check it? Is it something I can do myself, or am I looking at a trip to the shop?

Yeah, it's probably the actuator. It's located near the fuel filler flap. I wouldn't recommend trying to fix it yourself unless you're comfortable with car electrics. I ended up taking mine to a workshop. Cost me around 210€, but at least it's working now.
