Mobi parking heater issue
Summary of the thread
A 2020 Fiat Mobi owner is experiencing an issue where the parking heater won't activate, with a diagnostic tool indicating an error related to the auxiliary heater. The fuses have been checked and appear fine. A similar case was resolved by replacing a defective glow plug in the auxiliary heater, suggesting this as a potential cause. The recommended solution is to visit a workshop for diagnosis and possible glow plug replacement.

That's interesting! It's completely unresponsive. No sounds, no lights, nothing at all when I try to activate the auxiliary heater through the car's system. Like a light switch that's broken, nothing happens when you flip it. Could this still be related to what you experienced?

Yes, that's exactly what happened to me. In my case, it turned out to be a defective glow plug in the auxiliary heater. I'd suggest taking it to a workshop; they will likely confirm the diagnosis and be able to replace the glow plug. It ended up costing me around 440€ to repair.

Thanks for the advice! I'll take it to a workshop and mention the glow plug. Hopefully, that's the issue and it won't be too expensive to fix. I really appreciate you sharing your experience. Knowing a likely cause helps a lot!

I had a similar problem with my Mobi. Does it feel like the car is trying to start the heater but failing, or is it completely unresponsive?
