Mobi parking heater issue

Hi, I'm having a strange issue with my 2020 Fiat Mobi with a gasoline engine. The parking heater refuses to activate, and the diagnostic tool shows an error related to the auxiliary heater. I've checked the fuses, and they seem fine. The car has 216471 km on it. Could this be a simple temperature sensor issue, like when a thermostat sticks open? Or something more sinister like a coolant leak affecting the heater core?

That's interesting! It's completely unresponsive. No sounds, no lights, nothing at all when I try to activate the auxiliary heater through the car's system. Like a light switch that's broken, nothing happens when you flip it. Could this still be related to what you experienced?

Yes, that's exactly what happened to me. In my case, it turned out to be a defective glow plug in the auxiliary heater. I'd suggest taking it to a workshop; they will likely confirm the diagnosis and be able to replace the glow plug. It ended up costing me around 440€ to repair.
