Mobi Stuck in Transport Mode
Summary of the thread
A 2020 Fiat Mobi is stuck in transport mode, causing a general electrical malfunction and navigation issues. The problem may be linked to the car's electronics needing a system refresh. The suggested solution is to have the vehicle checked at a workshop, where a diagnostic tool can be used to resolve the issue. The dealership confirmed that a system refresh was necessary, and the repair was covered under warranty.

The engine tries to start, but sputters and fails. I've tried different key fob tricks, but nothing. Is a system refresh something I can do myself, or do I need to go to a service center?

Based on that, it sounds really familiar. If the engine sputters and the key fob isn't helping, I'd bet it's the transport mode issue. I wouldn't try anything yourself. Best to get it checked at a workshop; they'll probably connect it to their diagnostic tool.

Thanks for the insight. It's good to know others have had this problem and hopefully fixed it. I contacted the dealership, and you were right: the car needed a system refresh to turn off transport mode. Luckily, the repair was covered under warranty, so it cost me nothing. Thanks again!

Transport mode? I have a Mobi too, though I'm not sure of the year. I think I had something similar happen. Does the engine start at all? Have you tried anything with the key fob? Maybe the car's electronics need a system refresh?
