Mobilio Windshield Wipers Failure
Summary of the thread
The windshield wipers on a 2020 Honda Mobilio diesel stopped working, with an error code indicating a fault in the wiper system. The likely cause was identified as a defective cable or plug connection. A similar issue in another vehicle was resolved by addressing a corroded connector in the wiring harness. The problem was confirmed and fixed at a workshop by repairing a defective connector.

Yeah, it does have both cruise control and a rain sensor. I haven't actually checked if they're working since the wipers went out. Are they somehow related? What was the issue with your Astra?

On my Astra, the cruise control also went haywire at the same time, which pointed to a common electrical problem. I tried checking fuses and relays, but no luck. Eventually, I had to take it to a workshop. They found a corroded connector in the wiring harness. Given your error code and symptoms, you might be looking at something similar. It could be a simple fix, but it's probably best to have it checked out.

Thanks for the advice. I suspected it was something electrical. I took it to a workshop and they found a defective connector as suspected. Repair cost was 95€. At least it's sorted now.

That's a pain. I had almost the exact same problem with my old Opel Astra a few years back. The wipers just quit out of nowhere. Does your Mobilio have cruise control or a rain sensor? If so, are those also acting up?
