Moco rear window heating problem
Summary of the thread
The rear window heating issue in a 2015 Nissan Moco, along with problems with the windshield heating, was initially suspected to be related to a fault in the error memory. A suggestion was made that a weak or discharged battery could cause such electrical problems. After replacing the battery, the heating issues were resolved, confirming the battery was the root cause.

Thanks, that's helpful. Was it obvious the battery was the problem, or did you need to do specific tests?

Well, the engine was struggling to start sometimes, but not always. A mechanic checked it and confirmed the battery wasn't holding its voltage properly. So, no, it wasn't completely obvious at first. I would suggest taking your Moco to a workshop. The defroster repair could be related to the battery, and they can diagnose it properly.

Could be a battery issue, friend. I had similar symptoms in my old Fiat Panda. Everything electrical started acting up. The auto defrost wouldn't kick in, the window demister was useless, and the rear defroster just wouldn't work. Turned out the battery was heavily discharged and not holding a charge. A weak battery can cause all sorts of weird electrical problems.
