Modus AC not cooling
Summary of the thread
A 2008 Renault Modus owner reports that the air conditioning has stopped cooling and suspects valve issues in the cooling system. A suggestion is made to check the pressure switch, which is typically located near the condenser, and to consider AC diagnostics. The owner plans to take the car to a workshop for further investigation and potential repair.

Thanks. The blower motor seems to be working fine. Where exactly is the pressure switch located, and is there a way to test it? I haven't noticed any unusual AC noise.

The pressure switch is usually near the condenser. Honestly, for something like that, I'd recommend taking it to a workshop. Could be a defect in individual valves – that happened to me, and the repair was about 1000€.

Thanks for the advice. I'll book it in at a workshop and mention the valves. Hopefully, it won't cost too much. I will post the resolution when I have it.

Hey, I had a similar AC problem with my Modus. Does the blower motor work? Also, have you checked the pressure switch? Might be worth getting some AC diagnostics done.
