Modus audio system dead

I had a similar problem with my old Peugeot. Radio would power on and act like it was playing, but totally silent! Drove me nuts. Did you check all of your connections to the speakers?

When you say 'connections,' do you mean just the wiring behind the head unit, or should I be looking at the speaker wiring too? And, if it was speaker wiring, how did you find the problem?

Yeah, I meant the speaker wiring. In my case, it ended up being a corroded connector at one of the speakers. Honestly, tracing it was a pain. Unless you're really comfortable with car electrics, I'd suggest taking it to a workshop. They'll have the tools to diagnose it properly.

I'll take a closer look at the speaker wiring, but it sounds like a trip to the shop might be inevitable. I got a quote for around 280€ which looks acceptable.
