Modus Defrost Flap Fault

Thanks for the tips! I checked the fuses; they seem fine. I haven't looked at the blower motor resistor specifically, but the fan speeds all seem to be working correctly. Could it still be the resistor even if the fan is blowing at all speeds? Is there a specific way to test the resistor to be sure?

Right, if the fan speeds are all working, the resistor is probably okay. But still, intermittent faults can be tricky. Given the error code and low heat, and you've checked the basics, I reckon it's time to visit a workshop. Could be the flap motor itself, or wiring deeper in the dash. You're likely looking at around 95€ for the repair.

Appreciate the advice. I'll book it in with a local garage to have them take a look. I was hoping it would be something simple, but it seems like it requires a bit more investigation. Thanks again!

Hey! Low heating output and a flap error definitely sounds like a pain. Did you check the HVAC unit fuses? Sometimes a blown fuse can cause weird issues. Also, have you looked at the blower motor resistor? If that's failing, it can affect the fan speed and overall heating performance. Windshield fogging up more than usual too?
