Modus diesel engine issues

My 2009 Renault Modus diesel (around 55641 km) starts poorly, and fuel consumption is higher. Engine power seems reduced, with uneven idling and occasional stalling. Could this be a defective injection nozzle or a clogged fuel line? I'm also concerned about the impact on emissions.

I also have a Modus with a diesel engine. Your symptoms sound very much like the issue I had a while back. If I remember correctly, the car jerked when starting and revs fluctuated. Did you by any chance check the injection valve?

I appreciate your advice. I took my Modus to the shop, and they confirmed that the injection nozzle was defective. They cleaned or replaced it and fixed everything. Repair cost ended up being about 515€. Now everything goes smoothly, and I am really grateful.
