Mokka Automatic Temperature Control Fault
Summary of the thread
A 2021 Vauxhall Mokka is experiencing an automatic temperature control fault, with the AC not engaging and an error stored. The suspected cause is a defective interior temperature sensor, but a faulty cable or plug could also be the issue. It is suggested to check both the sensor connections and wiring harness, and if necessary, visit a workshop for a proper diagnostic assessment. The problem was ultimately identified as a defective cable.

When you say check the sensor connections, do you mean just the physical connections to the sensor, or also the wiring harness?

Both, really. Give the plug a wiggle and see if that changes anything; it sounds like the same issue I had. I'd suggest taking it to a workshop to get the sensor diagnosed properly; otherwise, you will keep guessing.

Thanks! I'll inspect the sensor connections and then visit a workshop for a diagnostic assessment. It turned out to be a defective cable costing me 95€.

Sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my Mokka. Is the temperature reading all over the place, or just consistently wrong? I’d check the sensor connections before anything else.
