Mokka Automatic Transmission Issue

Hi, I've got a 2017 Vauxhall Mokka diesel. The automatic transmission is acting up – shifting feels wrong, like it's struggling for the right gear. The transmission light is on. It doesn't shift as usual, and once it even went into emergency mode. Mileage is 138679 km. Anyone else seen this?

I also have a Mokka with an automatic. Sounds familiar. The 'implausible shifting' is like a clumsy dance, isn't it? And the emergency mode – that's the transmission throwing its hands up. Have you checked the transmission oil level? It needs oil to function properly.

Thanks! Transmission is a black box for me. I haven't checked the oil level, but I will. What were your symptoms, and how did you fix it? Was the oil level the problem?

My symptoms were the same - clumsy dance and emergency mode. The oil level was fine, so I took it to a workshop. They found 'Undervoltage in the vehicle' and recommended replacing the transmission oil. Maybe a workshop visit will help you figure it out.

Thanks for the advice! I went to my mechanic. They said the transmission oil was worn, likely due to undervoltage. They replaced the oil for 240€. The car runs smoothly now. Your experience saved me time and trouble!
