Mokka Blower Failure

Hey, I'm having a weird issue with my 2013 Vauxhall Mokka diesel. The fresh air blower just suddenly stopped working. The display is showing everything as normal, but no air is coming through the vents at all, regardless of the speed setting. I plugged in my OBD reader and it's showing an error related to the blower motor. I've checked the fuses, and they all seem fine. Could it actually be the blower motor itself after only 21537 km? Any ideas before I start ripping the dashboard apart?

I had a similar problem with my Mokka, although it was a petrol version. The HVAC system seemed to be completely dead, no fan at all. I didn't bother checking the error codes myself.

Interesting. Did you manage to fix it yourself, or did you take it to a shop? If you fixed it yourself, was it difficult? I'm reasonably handy, but I don't want to get in over my head.

Given that there are errors stored, I recommend having the issue professionally diagnosed and repaired. In my case, the problem was a defective blower motor. I had the blower motor replaced at my local workshop.

Thanks for the advice! I took it to a local garage, and you were spot on, it was the blower motor. They replaced it, and it's working perfectly again now. Cost me 365€ all in, but at least it's sorted.
