Mokka-e Headlight Range Fault

My 2021 Vauxhall Mokka-e is showing a headlight range control fault. Error message in memory, warning light on, and the low beam shines too far down or up, making night driving dangerous. I suspect a defective servomotor. Has anyone else seen headlight issues related to beam adjustment or adaptive headlights?

Oh, that sounds rough! I had a similar problem with my old Renault Megane, although it wasn't electric. Kept getting a headlight warning on the dash, and the lights were all over the place. Drove me nuts! Was yours doing it all the time, or just sometimes?

The issue is persistent, happening every time I drive at night. What specific symptoms did you have with your Renault Megane? Were they like mine, with the erratic beam adjustment?

Yep, pretty much the same! The lights would just randomly point at the ground or up into the trees. Super dangerous! I messed around with the headlight switch and all that, but nothing fixed it. I took it to a workshop, and they sorted it. Best bet is to get yours checked properly!

I took it to a certified workshop. Diagnosis confirmed a defective servomotor within the headlight, so I had it replaced. Total cost was 1040€.
