Thanks! Could you provide more specific information regarding the location of the main relay and any potential diagnostic steps to ascertain its functionality? Also, were the symptoms you experienced identical to those I described?

Yes, the symptoms were pretty much spot on: sluggish acceleration and the car just felt like it was being held back. As for finding it and testing, I'm not mechanically gifted enough to give detailed instructions. I'd honestly recommend getting it checked out at a workshop. If it is the main relay, it shouldn't cost too much. Mine ended up costing around 120€ to fix. Better to be safe than sorry when it comes to vehicle electronics, you know?

I appreciate your assistance and recommendation. Following your advice, I took the vehicle to a trusted workshop. The diagnosis confirmed a defective main relay, which was subsequently replaced. The repair cost amounted to approximately 120€, aligning with your estimation. The engine power has been fully restored, and the error message has been cleared. Thank you again for your invaluable insight.

Ah, a Mokka with ECU troubles, you say? I know that song and dance! I had something similar happen with my Mokka (can't remember the year). Reduced power, the whole nine yards. For me, it turned out to be a defective main relay. A relay is basically an electrically operated switch. When they go bad, they can cause all sorts of weird electrical problems. Has anyone checked the relays? Worth a look before tearing into the ECU itself.
