Mokka Fault Memory Lock Active
Summary of the thread
A 2023 Vauxhall Mokka electric vehicle is experiencing an error related to 'Fault memory lock active' and undervoltage, stored in the fault memory. The issue is likely linked to the main ECU and may be caused by a power issue leading to data corruption in the ECU's memory. A suggested solution is to have the ECU reflashed and address any underlying voltage problems, as similar cases have been resolved through these measures.

Yeah, the error code points to the main ECU. Did your error message also mention the memory lock?

It did, actually. The memory lock thing cropped up alongside a bunch of other seemingly unrelated errors. Ended up being a power issue corrupting the data in the ECU's memory. Bit beyond my skillset, so I took it to a workshop. They reflashed the ECU and sorted out the underlying voltage problem.

Right, sounds like the same deal. Dropped it at the garage, they quoted 240€ for investigation and repair (presumably a reflash as you mentioned).

I had similar gremlins in my Mokka. Is the error related to a specific control unit? Could be a computer system glitch causing it. I had issues with random fault codes popping up due to low voltage during cold starts. Check your battery and alternator, just in case.
