Mokka fuel flap issue
Summary of the thread
A 2014 diesel Vauxhall Mokka is experiencing a fuel flap release issue, accompanied by error codes and affecting other car functions. The problem might be linked to the electric actuator or the linkage. A similar case was resolved by replacing the actuator, which restored the fuel door's functionality and cleared the errors. Seeking professional assistance at a workshop is recommended for a proper fix.

Thanks! I was thinking about the electric actuator. Since you had a similar issue, can you tell me more about it? Did the fuel door fail sometimes at first, and did you have any other electrical issues?

Yes, it started happening sometimes. At first, I would press the release button a few times, and it would eventually open. Then, one day, it just stopped working. I tried to fix it myself, but without the right tools and knowledge, it's hard. I went to a workshop, and they replaced the actuator.

Thanks for the info! I think I'll visit my local workshop too. It sounds like my issue is similar. The actuator, linkage, or both might need to be fixed. After replacing the broken parts for 210€, the fuel door finally opens, and all the errors are gone. Thanks again for the help!

That's strange! I also drive a Mokka, and I had a similar fuel door problem a few years ago. It wouldn’t open, but I didn't get any error codes. Have you checked the electric actuator? I'm no expert, but it could be that.
