Mokka Height Control Restriction

I've got a 2021 Vauxhall Mokka-e with about 43800 km on the clock and a warning light about height control restrictions. The low beams seem off, and the car visibly sits unevenly. The ride's gotten bumpy too. I pulled the codes, and there's an error stored related to the leveling system. Could a defective control rod on the sensor be the culprit?

Sounds familiar. I've got a Mokka too, though not the electric one. I had similar symptoms a while back - the weird headlight angles and the bumpy ride were the worst. Did you check the leveling sensor connections themselves? Maybe one's come loose or corroded?

I did give them a quick look, but didn't dig too deep. You had the same uneven height issue as well? Was it the sensor rod in your case, or something else?

Yep, the uneven height was definitely part of it. Honestly, I messed around with it for a bit, but in the end, I just took it to a workshop. They sorted it out pretty quickly. Probably best to get it checked professionally, especially with the error code.

Thanks for the advice! Ended up being exactly as suspected: control rod on the sensor defective. Repair cost was around 110€, which I think is reasonable. Appreciate the insight!
