Mokka intake manifold issues

My 2016 Vauxhall Mokka diesel (233958 km) jerks when accelerating. The check engine light is on, and engine power is reduced. It sometimes stalls and runs rough, with a strong exhaust smell. I scanned it and there's an error. Any ideas? Could it be a vacuum leak or a manifold sensor issue?

I had similar issues with my Vauxhall Mokka (petrol version). Your symptoms sound like what I experienced when my intake manifold was faulty. Have you checked for leaks around the manifold or the air intake? It might be worth a look.

Thanks! How did you figure out it was the intake manifold? What was wrong with it, and what did you do to fix it?

Engine performance was poor, and the error codes pointed towards the intake manifold. It was leaking. I didn't fix it myself; I took it to a workshop. They replaced the entire unit. I'd suggest you get it checked by a professional.

Appreciate the advice. A local mechanic confirmed it's a defective intake manifold and quoted 1180€ for the repair. Thanks again!
