Mokka Lean Running Condition

I'm experiencing a lean running condition on my 2018 Vauxhall Mokka gasoline engine, with 123729 km. Symptoms include reduced power, illuminated check engine light, rough idling, and jerking during acceleration. Could a faulty injection valve or injector be the primary cause?

Those symptoms definitely point to a fuel delivery issue. Have you checked for vacuum leaks or considered looking at the oxygen sensor readings? A bad sensor could skew the air-fuel ratio and cause it to run lean. What about the spark plugs, are they fouled or worn?

I appreciate the suggestions. I have not yet examined the oxygen sensor data specifically. Where exactly would I measure that?

You'd need an OBD2 scanner to read the live data from the oxygen sensors. The scanner will show you the voltage readings, which should fluctuate rapidly. If they're flat or slow to respond, the sensor might be the problem. But, given all your symptoms, I reckon it's best to get it properly diagnosed at a workshop before throwing parts at it.

Understood. Thank you for your insight. A local workshop confirmed the defective injector diagnosis, and the repair cost was 515€.
