Mokka low heating output

My 2017 Vauxhall Mokka (gasoline engine) is having heating issues. The heating output is too low, and there's an error stored. Mileage is at 89882 km. I suspect a defective water valve, possibly a cable or plug connection issue.

I had a similar problem with my Mokka. The low heat and error code sounds familiar. Did you check the engine coolant level? If it's low, that could be the culprit before you suspect the valve itself.

Coolant level is fine. Any chance it was actually the valve in your case?

Yes, after checking everything else, it turned out to be the water valve. Given the stored error, I'd recommend getting it checked at a workshop. A faulty valve can cause engine overheating if not addressed promptly.

Thanks for the confirmation. I took it to the workshop, and it was indeed the water valve, a defective cable, or a plug connection on the component. Repair cost was 95€. Sorted now.
