Mokka MAF Sensor Issue

Air filter was changed recently. I hooked up an OBD scanner and it gave me code P0101. Does it confirm that the sensor is faulty?

P0101 is 'Mass Air Flow Circuit Range/Performance Problem.' While it strongly suggests a faulty MAF sensor it doesn't 100% confirm it without further testing. Any intake leaks? A smoke test would confirm it. Either way, with the symptoms you described and that code, it is quite likely. Time to visit your trusty mechanic.

Thanks for the input. Took it to a mechanic. You were right, MAF sensor diagnosed as faulty. Replacement and recalibration cost 365€. Runs like new now.

Sounds like MAF sensor failure is plausible, especially with those symptoms. Higher fuel consumption, stalling, CEL, and smoke – pretty classic. Have you checked your air filter recently? A clogged filter can sometimes contribute to issues with the MAF, causing it to get dirty or fail prematurely. If it's filthy, that could be related. If that doesn't fix it: Have you tried scanning the OBD codes to confirm the error code relates to the MAF meter? What codes are you getting?
