Mokka MOST Bus Fault
Summary of the thread
A 2013 Vauxhall Mokka is experiencing a MOST bus fault, resulting in a non-functional audio and navigation system. The issue is suspected to be a defect in one of the control units. A similar problem was resolved by checking the fiber optic cables between audio system components, but professional diagnostics may be necessary to accurately identify and fix the fault.

Thank you for your reply. Could you please elaborate a bit more about the fiber optics? Where exactly should I be looking, and what am I looking for?

Alright, so I am no expert, but in my case I remember something about the shop mentioning that the fiber optic cable that goes between the audio system components sometimes gets damaged or disconnected. I would say it is worth checking the connections, but honestly, if it is a MOST bus fault, like you suspect, it gets pretty complicated fast. You might need someone with proper car diagnostics equipment to pinpoint the faulty control unit. I ended up taking mine to a local workshop, and they sorted it out for around 1000€.

Oh, that sounds incredibly frustrating! I had almost exactly the same thing happen in my Mokka! No tunes, nav dead, the whole shebang. For me the problem was somewhere in the fiber optics – have you checked those?
