Mokka Power Window Failure

My 2012 Vauxhall Mokka with a gasoline engine is throwing a fit. I replaced the battery, and now none of the power windows work! I've got the error stored in the memory, but I can't get the window regulators to initialize. It's like they've forgotten how to window!

Sounds familiar! I had something similar happen with my Mokka after messing with the electrics. Did you try the window reset procedure? Hold the button down for a few seconds after it's fully down, then up and hold again when it's fully up. Sometimes that sorts it. If not, have you checked the fuses?

Yeah, I tried the reset thing a bunch of times – holding the button down and up like crazy! No luck. Fuses look okay too. It's driving me nuts! Did yours throw an error code as well, or just refuse to work?

Yep, mine was exactly the same. Windows dead, error code mocking me. I spent hours fiddling with it before giving in. Honestly, I'd bite the bullet and take it to a workshop with decent diagnostic gear. They can re-initialize the regulators properly. Save yourself the headache.

Okay, cheers for the advice! Sounds like I'm chasing a ghost here. I took it to a local garage. They sorted it with their diagnostic tool, seems like the regulator just needed a proper reset after the battery change. Cost me 290€, but at least the windows work now!
