When you mention checking the wiring and connections, what should I be looking for? Are there any specific connectors or areas that are prone to failure or corrosion? Did you replace the heating element yourself, or did you use a professional?

The connectors under the seat can be a pain. Look for any that seem loose or have corroded pins. Give them a wiggle and see if anything changes. I ended up taking mine to a shop because I didn't have the right tools or the time. They confirmed it was the heating mat and swapped it out. Best of luck!

Based on your experience and the complexity of the repair, I think I will take my Mokka to a trusted workshop for a professional diagnosis and repair. Thanks for saving me diagnostic time. I will post again when the issue has been resolved. They quoted me around 390€ for the repair.

I had a similar problem with my Mokka. My seat wasn't getting warm, and it turned out to be a faulty heating element in the seat. Did you check the wiring and connections under the seat? Sometimes they can get loose or damaged.
